Finally she runs again! Got her carbs tuned, adjusted valves, and put her new muffler on that Brandon made me. Totally SEXY! Still have some jetting to do, and had some valve noise, but a hopeful start on getting her back on the road.

Well I was going through my old photos, and found this great photo of my family in our '78 Transporter. My brother was still a baby, so I must have been about 4. Neither of my parents remember exactly where we were camped, but probably somewhere in a state/national park in cali.
I fondly remember driving to the grocery store in Leucadia, CA and driving down this huge hill and saying "WHEEEEEE". This was also when i nicknamed our van the "Fart-mobile", because i thought the engine sounded like a fart :)
